STYLE: French Saison
ABV: 6.7% IBU: 27
DESCRIPTION: An unfiltered hazy and refreshing beer with notes of apple, pear, and cracked pepper.
TITLE: Named after one of the US-led OSS Jedburgh teams who parachuted at night into northern France in August of 1944. These small teams lived with and operated through the local resistance on farms and in safe houses. We suspect they enjoyed this farmhouse ale during this time, and since the beer style originated in this area a few hundred years prior. The knife in the picture is a replica of the Fairbairn-Sykes stiletto fighting knife, which Jedburgh teams carried and were trained in its use.
